Key Accounts Manager work with the company’s biggest, most important customers to build long-term, strategic partnerships.
Main Job Responsibilities:
• Handles key accounts nationwide, builds, and maintains good relationship with key people and key decision makers in the hospital and industrial accounts (i.e. big chains).
• Coordinates with different business units of the company for any product concerns;
• Expands and effectively manages customer database.
Specific Duties:
• Achieves company’s sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepares and completes action plans; attains productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
• Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepares an annual budget for client promotion; scheduling expenditures;
• Represents the company to Key accounts and initiates/implements corrective actions. Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveys consumer needs and trends; tracks competitors.
• Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
• Accomplishes sales and organizational mission by completing related results as needed Key Accounts Manager (KAM) Skills and Qualifications:
• Keen selling skills or strong salesmanship, Strong Coordination, Communication, and Presentation skills, Building Relationships, Negotiation skills, Similar key account management experience,
• Highly results driven, Self-motivated, Know-how on Sales Route
• Planning, Analytical skills in terms of sales figures, potentials or profitability margin of a territory
• Good relationship with key accounts (MDC, Watsons, SSD, TGP, Rose Threesixty and top wholesalers)
Educational and Professional Requirements:
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years Similar Key Accounts Management Experience
